About

| Stuff About Me

I am an experienced 3D and Visual Effects artist with extensive knowledge in the fields of video production and computer animation. With an analytical mind and a passion for film and games, I strive to produce top-quality professional works in both industries.

I grew up learning about movies from my father, who is an old film school alumnus. I spent most of my childhood diving into computers and video games, from the C64 to the Playstation 3. I’ve always had strong ideas about what makes films and video games great, and I spend a lot of time building careful arguments as to why I feel the way I do about each game and film I mention. Ultimately, I just want to make my mark on the world by playing a part in the production of a truly great film and/or a truly remarkable game. I make music and art and films and design games because I want to move people the way that these things have moved me in my life.

Some of my heroes are Clint Eastwood, Tim Burton, William H. Macy, Bruce Campbell, Ewan MacGregor, Quentin Tarantino, Batman, Chris Cornell, Neil Armstrong, and every single person at Valve Corporation (especially the ones I’ve met).

I don’t know if I’ll ever really grow up, but I do know that I will always take my work very seriously. I make movies. I make games. And I love my job.

Rorschach the Watcher (A 2 hour radio contest project for the Watchmen premiere)

Exclamation Point (A 3-chord song I wrote once when I was bored)

Desperado (No, not the Eagles tune. Probably the closest thing to poetry I’ve ever written)
